                                                                        I would like to invite you to attend our annual 18 hole golf tournament at                                                Lionhead Golf and Country Club. Hitting the links will make a huge difference in the lives of the most important people at U of T Mississauga – the students. The                                                                                                 U of T Mississauga Alumni Association                                                                        has created a                         scholarship                        for a third year student and proceeds from the tournament will be going to this                                                                                                scholarship. It will enrich the lives of our students by helping them achieve a top-level education at one of the world’s leading teaching and research institutions. Join me — honoured years of 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992 and 1997 — and others as we help give more students, like our 2011 scholarship recipient, Umar Farooq,  a world renowned education while enjoying the company of your fellow alumni and our community members.
