Skule Lunch & Learn presents:

What To Do With CO2? From Carbon Utilization to Conversion

Wednesday, January 9, 2019

Join us this month as Professor David Sinton (MechE 9T8, MechE PhD 0T3) discusses revolutionary methods in carbon management. With global CO2 emissions over 30 billion tons per year, managing carbon is a defining challenge of our time. Professor Sinton outlines the scale of the challenge and solutions under development at U of T. Canada is already a leader in the utilization of CO2 in current energy processes. U of T researchers are leading the development of technology to upgrade CO2 into valuable chemicals and feedstocks. These approaches will be assessed in terms of the essential metrics of efficiency, cost and scale.
