    Inspirations of Israel: Poetry for a Land and People

    Brandon Marlon is a playwright, screenwriter and poet from Ottawa. He received his BA in Drama from U of T in 2000, and his plays have since received development in Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa. His script The Bleeding Season won the 2007 Canadian Jewish Playwriting Competition. His poetry has been published in Canada, the US and Israel in various publications including The Canadian Jewish News, Streeteaters, Poetica, Yalla Journal, The Bulletin, Soul Fountain, Voices, Emunah and Voices Israel. His first collection Inspirations of Israel was recently released (Xlibris, 2008), and his second Judean Dreams is forthcoming (Bayeux Arts, 2009). Brandon also graduated from the WUJS Institute’s Arad Arts Project in 2007, and presently divides his time between Canada and Israel.
