    A former teacher, literacy coordinator, and website designer, Gabriele Wills is the author of four highly acclaimed historical novels. Meticulous research is woven into compelling stories, bringing bygone eras vividly to life. Gabriele’s latest novels, The Summer Before the Storm and Elusive Dawn, are the first of "The Muskoka Novels" series.

    Born in Germany, Gabriele emigrated to Canada as a young child. She has been an active volunteer in her community, particularly in helping to preserve its heritage.     She is a founding member of the Independent Authors & Illustrators of Canada.
