Crawford is a native of Nova Scotia who received her Master's Degree in
History from the University of Toronto. Over the years, she has
undertaken research and writing projects on a number of heritage and
cultural themes.
The book "Extraordinary Lives: Inspiring Women of Peel" will be available for purchase at this lecture. Profits fund the Canadian Federation of University Women Charitable
Trust that provides post-graduate fellowships and awards to top
Canadian women pursuing studies in their chosen field.

Richard Ouzounian shares his life journey that inspired 40 years of professional work in the arts including writing, directing or acting in over 250 productions, serving as Artistic Director of five major Canadian theatres, being Associate Director of the Stratford Festival of Canada, and serving as Harold Prince's assistant on the original Toronto production of The Phantom of the Opera.
Ouzounian is currently Theatre Critic of the Toronto Star, Canada's largest daily newspaper, as well as the Canadian Theatre Reporter and Critic for Variety, "the bible of show business". He was the host of CBC's weekly radio program on musical theatre called Say It With Music as well as the Creative Head of Arts Programming at TVOntario.

Delve into the secret details of one of the most important WWII top-secret spy schools in the world—right here in Canada on the shores of Lake Ontario.
Hodgson, the best-selling author of Inside Camp-X was a successful businessman for thirty-five years. As the Founding Director of the Camp-X Historical Society and volunteer at the Camp-X museum in Oshawa, he now writes and speaks to share his knowledge of Southern Ontario's rich historical heritage. Hodgson has appeared in "Family Secrets" a documentary on Global TV across Canada and on History Television in "The True Intrepid". In 2004 Hodgson was awarded the "Lifetime Achievement Award" from the Ontario Heritage Foundation in appreciation of a lifetime of volunteer work to identify, preserve, protect and promote Ontario's heritage.

Forensic Anthropology - The Pickton Case

The
investigation of serial killer Robert Pickton's property in Port
Coquitlam, B.C. in 2002-03 was the largest in Canadian history. It
marks the first time that civilians trained in forensic anthropology
were utilized on a large scale to assist in a criminal investigation. Dr.
Rogers, the primary Forensic Anthropologist for the Pickton
investigation, explains the role of forensic anthropology in locating,
documenting, recovering, and analyzing human remains from crime scenes. Forensic Anthropology is the application of anthropological skills and theory, particularly those relating and analysis of human remains, to resolve legal matters.
Tracy Rogers, Ph.D, is the Director of the Forensic Science Program at U of T Mississauga and Associates Professor of Anthropology. She has been actively involved in case work since 1998 and is currently a consultant to the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service. Rogers publishes regularly in leading, peer-reviewed journals and is a regular reviewer for both the Journal of Forensic Sciences and Forensic Science International.
