  • What if I have more questions?

  • What is Alumni Reunion?
    • Alumni Reunion is U of T’s premier alumni gathering — and largest of the year — that takes place every spring. For Alumni Reunion 2024, there will be more than 100 in-person and online events on offer across all three campuses so U of T alumni can enjoy a wide variety of activities and celebrations. From outdoor festivities and thought-provoking lectures to activities for the kids, there is something for every U of T grad at Alumni Reunion.

  • Can any U of T grad attend Alumni Reunion?
    • Yes! All U of T alumni are invited to Alumni Reunion, regardless of their grad year. With more than 100 events, including ones organized by U of T colleges and faculties, there’s something for every U of T grad at Alumni Reunion — no matter where you are in the world!

While some events are designed with specific alumni affiliations in mind, many are open to all alumni — when browsing events, choose “Open to All U of T Alumni” from the Faculty/College dropdown menu. For events taking place on all three campuses, alumni should consider attending at their nearest campus, regardless of affiliation.

  • Is there something at Alumni Reunion 2024 for new grads?
    • Yes! It’s never too soon to attend your first Alumni Reunion. There will be special events for recent grads with many opportunities to connect, including our flagship social event for young alumni at Canada's Wonderland. Your college or faculty may also be hosting events designed for recent alumni.

  • What does “honoured year” mean?
    • “Honoured year” refers to one of the graduating classes we recognize at Alumni Reunion each year. For 2024, we’re hosting special events to honour alumni who graduated in a year ending in 4 or 9. While we host these events for honoured year alumni (Class of 1974, 1969, 1964, 1959, 1954, 1949 and 1944), there are lots of events open to all U of T alumni.

  • May I bring guests who aren’t U of T alumni?
    • You may add any guests during the online registration process.

We encourage you to register guests in advance, as capacities for in-person events may be limited. Admission may not be guaranteed without registration and walk-ins may not be accommodated.

  • I have special dietary requirements. Will there be something for me at Alumni Reunion?
    • When you register for individual events, you’ll have the opportunity to submit your dietary requirements. We try to ensure that vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are available at all our events. We also try to ensure that food items are well labeled for guests who may have allergies or food sensitivities.

  • I have accessibility requirements. Can Alumni Reunion accommodate me?
    • Our goal is to create an accessible Reunion experience. Most online events will be closed captioned. We recommend reaching out to the event organizer as soon as possible regarding your accessibility needs.

In-person events will occur in locations across the St. George, Scarborough and Mississauga campuses. While we strive to create an accessible Reunion experience, some buildings are older and currently inaccessible. To find out more about accessibility at the venues you’re attending, select a link:

When using an interactive campus map, click on the “Layers” tab and select “Powered Entrances” under “Accessibility.” Please note that the wheelchair symbol provides information about the building’s accessibility and entrances. We regret that not all entrances are fully accessible. U of T is continually working towards making its campus fully accessible.

  • Is Alumni Reunion free?
    • Most events are free, but some will require a fee. Please see the individual event listing for more information.

  • How do I register for Alumni Reunion 2024?
    • First, build your itinerary by browsing events and adding them to your event cart. You can use the search box and filters to narrow your results. When done adding events, click “CHECKOUT” in your event cart to enter the registration process. You’ll be guided through the steps of registration, including adding guests if desired. After completing registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email.

Just before Reunion starts, the primary registrant will receive an email with a link to their personal Alumni Reunion web itinerary, where information about accessing in-person or online events will be available. Guests will not receive reminder emails, so we encourage primary registrants to share all relevant event details with their guests.

  • I’ve already registered for Alumni Reunion 2024. Can I still add more events or guests?
    • Yes! Find your confirmation email (subject line: “Confirmation: Your Alumni Reunion 2024 Itinerary”) and click the instant login link provided. This will open the Alumni Reunion website, where you can add more events to your existing registration and check out again. Note: if you don’t wish to add more events, simply click “CONTINUE” in your existing event cart to edit other details of your registration, such as your contact info or the names and numbers of guests.

Attending In-Person Events

  • Do I have to check in when I arrive?
    • Yes, please. You need to check in at your first event to pick up a name tag. This name tag will act as your ticket for flagship events and several other events throughout the weekend. Show it to event staff for scanning when you arrive at your events.

Please note that some colleges and faculties may require you to check in again when you arrive at their events.

  • Do I need a ticket or wristband to attend events?
    • Your name tag acts as your all-access pass to the majority of Alumni Reunion events. Please refer to your event confirmation email, as some events may require a separate ticket for entry.

Pick up your nametag at your first scheduled event, and see your web itinerary for any further instructions regarding check-in.

  • If my photo is taken at an Alumni Reunion event, what does U of T do with it?
    • All Alumni Reunion events take place in locations where photography and audio-video recordings might occur, so you could appear in them. By attending Alumni Reunion, you hereby authorize the University of Toronto to take a photograph or video of you and/or record your voice. You also grant the University all rights to these photographs, videos or audio in any medium for educational, promotional, marketing, advertising or other such purposes that support the mission of the University. If you do not consent to this use of your image or voice, please speak to a university representative when you arrive at Alumni Reunion.

  • What are the COVID-19 policies at Reunion?
    • As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, we continue to monitor public health guidance to ensure the safety measures we have in place are up to date and are informed by evidence. The University has implemented a range of safety measures across our three campuses in response to COVID-19 that have allowed for a safe return to campus. Some of these strategies will be eased in alignment with public health guidance but will be redeployed as needed.

Learn more about the current University of Toronto COVID-19 safety measures.
